T8 Stonemasons your trusted provider of premium kitchen benchtops. These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern your use of our services and products. By engaging with T8 Stonemasons, you agree to be bound by the following terms.
Services Offered
T8 Stonemasons provides custom kitchen benchtops, including design, supply, and installation services. We offer a variety of materials such as granite, quartz, marble, and engineered stone. Specific details regarding the products and services provided will be outlined in your individual contract or quote.
Quotes and Orders
- Quotes: All quotes are based on the information provided by the customer. Prices are subject to change if there is any alteration to the scope of the project, material availability, or unforeseen circumstances.
- Order Confirmation: An order is only deemed confirmed when a signed agreement or order form is received, and a deposit is paid as outlined in the payment terms.
- Material Selection: All materials chosen by the customer must be confirmed in writing. Any changes to material selection after the order has been placed may result in additional charges and delays.
Payment Terms
- Deposit: A deposit of 70% of the total project cost is required to confirm your order. The remaining balance is due upon completion of installation, unless otherwise agreed.
- Final Payment: The outstanding balance is payable at the completion of the installation. All payment claims are carried under the Building ad Construction Industry Security Payment Act (VIC) 2002.
- Additional Costs: Any additional charges resulting from changes in material, scope, or unforeseen issues (e.g., site preparation) will be communicated to the customer and invoiced separately.
Lead Time and Delivery
- Lead Time: The standard lead time for fabrication and installation is 7 to 10 working days from the date of confirmed order and receipt of deposit, depending on material availability and complexity.
- Delays: T8 Stonemasons will make every reasonable effort to meet the agreed-upon schedule, but we cannot be held responsible for delays caused by factors outside our control, such as supplier delays, weather conditions, or unforeseen issues at the installation site.
Installation
- Site Preparation: The customer must ensure that the installation site is ready and prepared according to our specifications prior to the scheduled installation date. Failure to do so may result in additional charges.
- Access: The customer is responsible for ensuring that the site is accessible for delivery and installation. T8 Stonemasons is not responsible for damage caused by inadequate access to the site.
- Damage: The customer must inspect the benchtops upon installation. Any damage or issues must be reported to T8 Stonemasons within one (1) day of installation.
Warranty
- Please visit respective supplier website for care and warranty registrations.
Maintenance and Care
To maintain the appearance and integrity of your benchtop, regular cleaning and proper care are required. Specific maintenance guidelines will be provided upon installation. Failure to follow these guidelines may void the warranty.
